Here in Cornelius, North Carolina there is an air of quaint, small-town while nestled up to a big, thriving city. The shopping in Charlotte reigns supreme, but that electricity has branched out into the local towns surrounding it. Right here in a town of 32,000 residents, there are several opportunities to support local businesses and our local boutiques provide a variety of styles, each being unique in what they have to offer. As small business owners, creating a successful and lasting environment can be tricky because of the varying obstacles that come with owning a small business. The truth is, what may look polished on the outside, can be a roller coaster within. The owners of several of our local boutiques recently got together to join forces as a team to support each other’s businesses on top of growing their own. Their goal was to show our community that not only do they support each other, but they root for each other. They believe that success for one is success for all.

In a nation that is often divided by politics or economics, these ladies understand that the path to success is easier to navigate when we hold each others hands. Each boutique brings something different to the table and they feel there is enough room for them all to both co-exist and grow together. All of these boutiques find it important to give back to their community in some way: be it products, services, time and/or donations.
