Born in Virginia, Cindy traveled and lived throughout the US and abroad with her military family, constantly uprooting their lives every three years was an excitingly, unexpected adventure.

During summer breaks, when Cindy wasn’t engaged in swimming and ballet lessons, her and her mom spent their days at the local fabric shops, where they would spend hours searching for patterns and fabric to create their next outfit for any occasion. Cindy loved pairing pattern designs and matching colorful spools of thread. Listening to the sound of her moms’ antique Singer sewing machine power away stitching all the seams brings back her pass time love for fashion. Cindy use to envision herself as a fashion designer, designing and sewing clothing for those who loved the flow of garments that draped with ease.

Cindy’s years of studying photography continues to influence her creativity through visual storytelling.
